Faith PCA has been blessed with a number of Godly pastors, since our inception in 1973.  Pastor Travis joined us in late 2004.  A "recovering" Yankee, Travis was raised in southern New Hampshire, and received Christ as savior when he was 16.  After completing his undergraduate degree at Grove City College (where he met his future wife, Sarah), Travis went on to seminary at Reformed Presbyterian Theological, in the heart of Pittsburgh.  He served for several years as youth director and assistant pastor at a sister PCA church outside the city, before receiving the call to serve as solo pastor at Faith. 

In his own words, Travis's philosophy of ministry is "don't take yourself too seriously; take God very seriously."  Pastor Travis is joined in life and ministry by his bride, Sarah.  The Bonds have four beautiful daughters:  McKayla, Alayna, Rachel, and Sadie. 

Church Leadership

Although Faith PCA has one pastor, responsible for preaching and teaching, leadership is shared by several elders (aka, the "session"), who undergo extensive training before being nominated and elected by the congregation.  Our church is blessed with several Godly men who are willing to serve as elders.  Together with the pastor, they are responsible for the spiritual oversight of the congregation. 

In addition, the Board of Deacons is composed of men who have also undergone training, and been elected by the congregation.  The deacons are responsible for mercy ministries, and care of the church facilities.
